Shaun played by Simon Pegg in Shaun of the Dead is a very interesting character he reminds me of me in some ways. Shaun is a living in the world of robots as I see it and he feels like hes the only one that see's it however he keeps doing what he does and going with the flow. Shaun has very a bad and boring relationship with his girlfriend Liz played by Kate Ashfield, his relationship with his girlfriend is not the only bad one he doesn't seem to get along with his flatmate Pete or his stepfather Phillip. The only person that Shaun does get along with is his best friend Ed which interestingly enough is the laziest and most horrid person around. This romantic, comedy, zombie movie revolves around Shaun and his girlfriend Liz, although the world around them is dying and they are doing everything possible to stay alive their relationship problems never seem to go away. Ed, Shaun's best friend is a bad influence oddly I believe Shaun likes him because of that. During the course of the movie Shaun tries to lead the gang out of harms way and into safety, the main reason for his heroism is that Liz broke up with him and he want to win her heart back by saving her life.
